Symptom

After a device restarts, it takes a long time to establish OSPF neighbor relationships.

Condition
  1. In a DSVPN over IPSec scenario, more than 300 OSPF neighbor relationships are established, and more than 200k LSA routes exist.
  2. The device is restarted to recover services.

Impact

OSPF neighbor relationship establishment is slow, and service recovery is slow.

The maximum rate at which OSPF packets are sent to the CPU is low.

Solution

The maximum rate at which OSPF packets are sent to the CPU is increased from 1250 to 2000.
